March: Robin Hood Cup
Later in the month, the inaugural sports competition 'Robin Hood Cup' invitational will kick off, bringing together students from various campuses to showcase their athletic prowess and youthful energy over two days of competition. This is not only a competition of ability, strength and speed, but also a friendly exchange that transcends geographical boundaries. Through the spirit of sport,the competition is built to promote teamwork, camaraderie and cultural interaction among the younger generation.
April: Global partner day
This event will further deepen the close ties between UNNC and its global partners, and broaden the boundaries of communication. Representatives from numerous esteemed international higher education institutions, including schools from U21, will converge at UNNC to engage in discussions on a multitude of topics pertaining to educational collaboration.
April: International education week
The series of activities for international education week will kick off successively, such as Spring Concert, Global Village, and Science Expo. Meanwhile, student organisations and societies will present 20 birthday gifts to UNNC, showcasing the talents of UNNC students in the international education environment.
April: 20th anniversary gala celebration
This is not only a grand gathering feast, but also an important moment to showcase UNNC's 20-year world-class international education journey from a global perspective. On this memorable night, we will witness the growth footprint of UNNC, and look forward to a more brilliant future.
April: UNNC museum's opening
The UNNC museum will comprehensively showcase UNNC's outstanding achievements and unique culture since its establishment, providing a window for all sectors of society to deeply understand the development process and spiritual connotation of UNNC. Through rich materials and precious historical objects, the museum will become an important carrier for connecting history with the present.
April : Alumni Homecoming series
We warmly invite alumni to return to UNNC for series of special 20th anniversary events, culminating in what we anticipate to be the largest alumni homecoming in UNNC's history! With class reunions, industry forums, activities and campaigns highlighting the stories of our incredible graduates, we can't wait to walk down memory lane together while looking to our shared, limitless future.
Keep an eye out for pre-registration, for events starting from mid-April which will provide a welcoming platform for alumni to communicate, share, and celebrate. There will be opportunities to highlight, learn about and recognise the success of the 22,000+ members of our global community, as well as support UNNC through the next exciting 20 years of development.
July: 2024 international forum on student affairs
The International Forum aims to create a platform for exchanging innovative practices in student affairs management across universities and delve into the research and practice of cultivating students' glocal competence in various settings. A highlight will be a special forum for authors of chapters in a forthcoming book to share their insights on the cultivation of glocal talent. By embracing the vision of a 'community with a shared future for mankind,' the 2024 International Forum on Student Affairs aspires to contribute to a meaningful dialogue on glocal talent cultivation, underscoring the interconnectivity and collective prosperity of communities and nations in sculpting the future of higher education.
In addition, UNNC will release 20 research impact cases, vividly showcasing the outstanding achievements and profound impacts of UNNCers in various fields.
