The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) is giving students more choice than ever when it comes to postgraduate study.

Traditionally recognised for its strong record of progression to world-leading universities, UNNC now also offers students opportunities to pursue postgraduate study at top Chinese institutions through the postgraduate recommendation scheme. Together, these pathways provide students with the flexibility to choose the future that best matches their ambitions.

The first cohort to benefit from this dual-pathway model has already achieved impressive results. Alongside offers from globally renowned universities such as Cambridge, Harvard and the National University of Singapore, students have also secured places at leading Chinese institutions including Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Sun Yat-sen University and Nankai University.

For some students, the international outlook, research opportunities and global experiences offered at UNNC have opened doors to the world’s top universities. For others, those same experiences have helped them stand out when applying to prestigious postgraduate programmes in China. There is no single route to success—only the route that is right for each student.

To support these diverse ambitions, UNNC continues to expand partnerships with leading universities both in China and overseas, invite admissions representatives to campus, and provide tailored academic and career guidance. Students also benefit from peer mentoring and first-hand advice from successful applicants who have already navigated both pathways.

By combining an international education with growing opportunities for postgraduate progression at home and abroad, UNNC is empowering students to make informed choices about their future. Whether they aspire to continue their studies in China or around the world, students can pursue their goals with confidence, supported by a university that values ambition, flexibility and opportunity.
