The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) has hosted a major international careers fair, bringing together nearly 100 leading employers from across China and overseas and offering more than 3,500 graduate opportunities. Delivered through the University of Nottingham’s tri-campus collaboration spanning the UK, China and Malaysia, the event connected students directly with global recruiters across sectors including finance, technology, advanced manufacturing, new energy and media.
Well-known organisations such as Decathlon, China Minsheng Bank, Tencent, NIO and CITIC Securities were among those in attendance, attracting strong student interest. A particular highlight was the participation of the Hong Kong Talent Engage office under the China’s Hong Kong SAR Government’s Labour and Welfare Bureau, introduced via the University’s UK campus. Through its talent initiatives, UNNC graduates can explore career opportunities in the Greater Bay Area, supported by access to thousands of vacancies across a wide range of industries.
The event also reflected UNNC’s expanding partnerships with industry. On the same day, the University signed new agreements with organisations including CASETiFY, China Minsheng Bank, SF Express and Hero Games to co-develop summer internship programmes, further strengthening practical learning pathways and enhancing students’ employability.
This integrated approach is part of UNNC’s long-term commitment to supporting student development through a full-cycle careers ecosystem. From early-stage guidance to employer engagement and global opportunities, the University continues to equip its students with the skills, experience and connections needed to succeed in an increasingly competitive international job market.
