Shipu Zhang, a 2012 alumnus of the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) and Co-founder of NOETIX Robotics, has been named in the 2025 Forbes China Top 100 Most Influential Chinese Elites in recognition of his groundbreaking achievements in humanoid robotics.

Founded just two years ago with seed funding of only RMB 1 million and a small core technical team, NOETIX Robotics has rapidly established itself as an industry pacesetter. With more than 30 core patents, its flagship robots—such as Xiaowan Tong N2, capable of complex movements including backflips, and Bumi, the world’s first high-performance humanoid robot priced under RMB 10,000—have gained international acclaim. Notably, Bumi sold out 500 units within two days of launch.The company has raised nearly RMB 1 billion in cumulative financing.
