I have been an ELT professional since 1992 and have worked as a teacher of English for Exam Preparation, General, Academic and Specific Purposes, trainer for CELTA and DELTA, assessor for CELTA and DELTA, Cambridge and IELTS examiner, academic manager and school founder/director.

I spent most of my career in Italy, but I have also worked in Bulgaria, China, Czechia, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, the USA and online. I joined UNNC CELE in November 2022.

As part of the PET Team at UNNC, I spent my first two years tutoring on teacher training courses, such as GTA, Outreach / REAP, Cambridge Professional Development Qualifications, TESOLpro, 21^st Century EMI, NAA, etc.

I currently teach on these undergraduate EAP modules: RWAC, OCSa, OCSb, ESACb, and on these postgraduate pre-sessional courses: LDP and RWRS

I am presently undertaking an MSc in Educational Psychology and have a particular interest in the extent to which technology can enhance and/or inhibit the learning and teaching processes.
