I have been teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP) at the UNNC since 2020. Prior to this I worked in universities in both the UK and China.

My research and scholarship interests focus on the influence of power and politics in higher education; social theory and EAP practitioner identity, agency and development. Currently, my work analyses the impact of precarity on practitioners in the field.
