Biography
I began teaching English in Spain in 2006 and moved on to teach at universities in the UK before coming to UNNC in 2017. I worked as an IELTS Examiner for eight years and Course Leader at Loughborough University where I developed experience in assessment design and curriculum development, and also managed teams of teachers. After completing my MA in Applied Linguistics and TESOL, I focused on course development and design, including contributing to the establishment of an ESP strand for international students. I now serve as Module Convenor, responsible for day-to-day course delivery, assessment design, and quality assurance, while also leading a team of tutors. Outside the classroom, I stay active teaching fitness classes at the university gym, and I have run marathons in Madrid, London, and New York.
