On the afternoon of May 18, 2021, the 2021 Ningbo Higher Education Symposium on Digital Transformation and IT Service & Management was successfully held in UNNC. The symposium aims to implement the national "14th Five-Year Plan", further promote the integration of information technology and education, and comprehensively promote the innovative development of digital transformation in colleges and universities.
Nearly 30 representatives from Ningbo colleges and universities attended this symposium. Thomas Murphy, Our Chief Financial and Planning Executive Officer gave a wonderful opening speech and welcomed the participants. He said, 'The purpose of the symposium is to promote the exchange of digital ideas among the Ningbo Colleges and Universities, to share the experience in IT service and management, and to explore the digital transformation opportunities available to us.'
In the first part of the symposium, the head of the project management office ( Liping TAO) and the director of IT Services(Harry HUA), shared the topics of strategic plan of UNNC digital transformation and UNNC digital journey. Qijun DONG from Ningbo University shared the topic of Smart Classroom Construction and Management Practice, Mei YANG from Ningbo University of Technology shared the topic of Digital Transformation Measures, and Jian CHEN from the Ningbo University of Finance and Economics made the presentation of Transformation of Operation & Maintenance System.
In the second part of the symposium, participants made group discussion on topics of IT Standardization Service and Management, Cyberspace and Information Security, One-stop Service Construction, Smart Classroom Construction , and Data Governance and Data middle-Platforms.
At the end of the symposium, the participants visited the new library and felt amazing for the UNNC's learning space construction and learning environment management.
The symposium was successful, and it is expected that there will be more opportunities to exchange with Ningbo colleges and universities in the future.
