On March 22, the Confucius Institute organized a cultural-immersion excursion to Ningbo Jiulong Lake for 32 UNNC students, staff, and their families. The participants enjoyed a hands-on pottery workshop led by skilled local artisans, where they crafted unique ceramic pieces while learning traditional techniques. The workshop was followed by a peaceful springtime walk along the lake’s scenic trails, offering a harmonious blend of artistic expression and nature appreciation.

By combining interactive craftsmanship with serene exploration, the trip offered participants a welcome respite from their busy routines. It also inspired a deeper appreciation for Chinese traditions through immersive, community-centered experiences.
