9 Sep and 11 Sep at Room 102 Teaching Building, NCI Ningbo Branch organized two cultural workshops for 20 international PG students. It aims to facilitate students who is with a good interest of learning the Mandarin and Chinese culture.

Some of the students said it was their first time to see the Chinese knot and make it. After overcoming several small problems, students all made nice lucky knots. Some of them even challenged the advanced types of knots.

The opera mask painting was also attractive. Before painting the opera, students learnt the historical development of Pekin Opera, as well as some key characters in the classical opera, from the CI staff. Through painting the opera, they also showed great interests to learn more about Chinese literature such as the Romance of Three Kingdom.

As it was approaching to the Mid-Autumn Festival, NCI Ningbo staff wished all the international students and staff a very happy holiday. The students also expressed that they were eager to explore more types of Chinese culture.
