Living in China—Mid-Autumn Festival

Sep 22 at MN Canteen, over 30 UNNC students and staff celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival together. This event attracted participants from many countries including Russia, Nigeria, Indonesia and Germany. This event was jointly organized by the Confucius Institute, Graduate School and Department of Campus Life. It is a part of the university’s Living in China programme.

From the story of Chang’e Flies to the Moon to China’s Chang’e Moon Exploration Project, the participants were amazed by advanced technology achievements of the modern China which makes the ancient legend come true.

Then the participants started to make mooncakes under the instruction of the professional snack makers. Everyone showed great interest in the event. Holding the beautiful mooncakes in hand, the participants enjoyed great fun through this event.
