On 6^th and 7^th October, UNNC Mandarin Corner and Confucius Institute co-organized a lantern riddles fete for celebrating 2020 Middle- Autumn festival.

At night, bathing in the light of lamps, hundreds of riddles were hang on the Nottingham Bridge. Interesting riddles like “What question can you never answer ‘yes’ to?” and ” What gets larger, the more you take away? “ attracted many passing students and staff to stop to figure out the answers. Once got the right answer, they were rewarded with special designed presents. The activity finished much earlier than we scheduled because the riddles were run out.

Many participants expressed their enjoyment in the fete and better understanding about the traditional Chinese festival.
