Chinese Bridge Spring Camp visited UNNC and Ningbo City

On April 16th, 19 students from the Chinese Bridge Spring Camp visited the University of Nottingham Ningbo China under the guidance of two teachers from the Confucius Institute in Nottingham. The 19 students were from two countries, the United Kingdom and Poland. This was the first European delegation to visit UNNC since the lockdown of pandemic was lifted. The event was strongly supported by the Center for Language Exchange and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and the Foreign Affairs Office of the Ningbo Municipal People's Government.

Led by the Campus Ambassadors, the delegation visited the beautiful UNNC campus and experienced the 20 years of growth and changes of UNNC at the newly built University History Museum. Dr. Jenny Dong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, and Ms. Min Rose, Director of the Office of Research and Knowledge Exchange, received the visiting delegation. After the Chinese painting experience and the incubator visit at UNNC, the delegation also went to Ningbo Library and Zoumatang Jinshi Village to experience Chinese culture reading, engraving printing and Song Yun/Hanfu experience respectively.

The members of the delegation were full of praise for the trip to Ningbo and sincerely wished UNNC a happy 20th anniversary!
