MSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management programme (1 year full-time) offers a series of curriculum that gives students insights on the multi-facets of entrepreneurship and teaches students how to start and run a business as an entrepreneur. Equivalently, the knowledge taught in this program will appeal to someone seeking leadership positions with larger organizations by being inspired and equipped with entrepreneurial mindsets and innovative capabilities that are appreciated in today's VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) world. Through the programme, students can gain hands-on experience, and first-hand information on how businesses work in China, and they can develop an understanding of how to engage with international partners and clients effectively.
MSc Finance and Investment programme (1 year full-time) provides a full-time course for those seeking positions in finance and investment. The programme is based around the three main classes of capital investment activity - equity markets, fixed interest markets and derivative markets. Participants in the MSc Finance and Investment Programme can also use the dissertation component to concentrate in-depth on a finance and investment topic according to individual interests and career requirements.
MSc Finance and Investment (Professional Accounting) programme (2 years full-time) will equip students with advanced accounting skills, technical proficiency and leadership traits sought by leading public accounting firms. Students will be required to spend a minimum of 9 weeks of internship (placement) each year with a large international accounting firm as an integral part of the programme, and companies include KPMG, PwC, BDO, and Moore (Dahua) global accounting firm. The programme will provide students with the experience of solving complex problems in unconventional settings to prepare them to immediately impact public accounting. These opportunities offer a real-world grounding in the best accounting practices.
MSc International Business programme (1 year full-time) aims to develop knowledge and skills in fundamental management disciplines while also including specialist modules in various areas of international business. This is a 'conversion' masters programme for students without an essential degree in business/management and related areas. With the global economy increasingly influencing the business world, this programme provides non-business school graduates with a solid international business theory and practice foundation.
MSc International Management programme (1 year full-time) furnishes students with advanced knowledge. It facilitates the development of professional and interpersonal capabilities relevant to international and cross-cultural management, preparing them for careers in international organizations and multicultural work settings.
Business Analytics is an increasingly critical component in preparing organizations to solve 21st-Century business challenges and support data-driven decision making. Graduates of the MSc International Management (Business Analytics) programme (1 year full-time) will have the necessary skills and knowledge in various fields, including business operation, database, statistics, informatics, data analytics, machine learning, and big data technologies in real-world business contexts.
MSc International Management (Marketing) programme (1 year full-time) is designed to develop your understanding of critical areas in consumer behaviour and consumption, marketing management, strategy, analytics and critical marketing. Thanks to a partnership with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), students have the opportunity to acquire the CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing after graduation.
MSc International Business (Supply Chain Management) is a specialist masters programme, jointly provided by the University of Nottingham Ningbo China and Ningbo China Institute for Supply Chain Innovation (NISCI), as part of the MIT Global Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence (SCALE) Network. It aims to provide an advanced teaching and learning programme that facilitates progressive learning towards the frontiers of knowledge in the planning and managing supply chain operations. Students study in Ningbo and have the opportunity to spend three weeks at MIT in the USA. Graduates will be awarded a degree certificate from the University of Nottingham (UK) and an MIT SCALE graduate certificate. The master programme aims to provide an advanced teaching and learning programme that facilitates progressive learning towards the frontiers of knowledge in the planning and managing supply chain operations. The programme opens its doors to the first cohort of students in September 2021.
