I have had a long and varied work life. In 2003, I finally decided to settle on teaching as a career. My first teaching position was in Shanghai before moving to Qingdao. I subsequently taught in Estonia and Vietnam. I returned to China and joined CELE in September 2008. Since then, I have seen many changes to the campus. I have taught many courses at CELE during my time here and been involved in numerous projects. I have also taught IELTS skills and been an IELTS examiner. During my time as convener of English for Architecture I led many successful initiatives to reform course design. Upon completion of an MA in Special and Inclusive Education, I am now the UNNC Tutor for Specific Educational Needs and the CELE Disability Officer and actively support the innovation and development of inclusive education provision at CELE and UNNC.
