Coaching and Support provides English language and study skills support for all Preliminary Year students. This video explains who we are, what we do, how we do it and how you can get it. Our philosophy is based on Coaching Skills: we try to help you to help yourself by promoting your choices, autonomy, independence, skills, and responsibility. This means we encourage you to find answers yourselves, but it also means that we don’t simply tell you what the answers are. Although our team are all experienced tutors, your main source of support is always your class EAP and Content tutors. We can help you, but we are not a replacement for them.
