FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions for Master Programmes at UNNC:

1.  Am I qualified for the course I want to do?

You can find the entry requirements online. If you cannot find the information, or you are unclear what the entry requirements are, you can contact admissions@nottingham.edu.cn| or telephone (Chineses and English speakers): +86 (0)574 88180257, 88180155 and 88180299 to find out more. As a general guide, most one year full-time courses require you to have an Upper Second Class Honours degree (or equivalent), and IELTS 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in writing (if English is not your first language) at the very least. However we will be taking all aspects of your application into consideration including academic background, work history and references. A lower second degree may be acceptable if applicants have a strong undergraduate profile in modules relevant to the proposed course of postgraduate study. Requirements for individual programmes of study may vary. Please note, the Admissions Office can only tell you what the entry requirements are, they cannot tell you whether you will get an offer or not. We need to have a completed application form and all of the required supporting material before admissions officers can make a decision.
