Dignity at Ningbo Network (DANN)
Dignity at Ningbo Network DANN is a peer-based advisory body established to support the provision and implementation of the Dignity Policy at UNNC. All members of the University have an important role to play in creating an environment where dignity and respect for others matters (Dignity Policy §1), and on that basis the DANN is comprised of the following:
- Selected academic representatives at School/Faculty level
- Selected administrative representatives
- Selected student representatives
Examples of problems people bring to DANN include bullying, harassment and exclusion such as being:
•Bullied by a student or a member of staff.
•Teased or picked on because of a personal characteristic such as age, race, gender, sexual orientation, disability etc.
•Abused physically or verbally, including electronically or in a virtual/ cyber space.
•Excluded from work or social activities which you feel you should normally be involved in, and which you think is unfair.
