Biography
Jared Valenzuela is an educator specializing in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and higher education pedagogy, recognized as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and an Associate Fellow of BALEAP (British Association of Lecturers in English for Academic Purposes). His teaching practice spans diverse international contexts, with roles in universities and educational programs in China, Saudi Arabia, and the Philippines. Jared’s areas of expertise include EAP instruction and British Parliamentary debate convenorship, complemented by active contributions to academic conferences and publications on topics such as student engagement, AI literacy, and innovative teaching methodologies. His work reflects a thoughtful engagement with contemporary developments in education, addressing the evolving needs of learners and educators in a global academic environment.
