This conference was chaired by Professor Xu Sun, interim Associate Dean for RKE, and organized by the Faculty RKE Committee. It aimed to bring together researchers from different Departments and Research Groups to discuss and share their latest research findings and experiences, and enhancing interdisciplinary knowledge exchange and collaboration across FoSE.

Professor Tao Wu, Dean of Faculty of Science and Engineering, gave the welcome speech, emphasizing that the event was a great opportunity to share cutting-edge research findings, form and strengthen new collaborations, and most importantly promote the research excellence in the Faculty.

The conference, attended by over 100 researchers and students, showcased groundbreaking studies across various fields. Professor Chun'an Tang, Chair Professor from Dalian University of Technology, and Professor Ruibin Bai, Professor of Computer Science delivered keynote speeches, when there was a series of talks by 17 faculty academics in parallel sessions.

The event offered staff and student participants the opportunity to engage in deep discussions and to network with each other from related fields, making the conference an excellent platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and professional development.
