Dr. Christian Müeller’s research aims at tackling the problems of inequality and social justice. It does so by evaluating the chances and limitations of non-state agency in changing international structures through the prism of a historical "laboratory" of anti-slavery and social welfare movements in influencing International Organisations for policy-making. He has designed a research framework that addresses the major transnational networks of social movements engaging with the problem of social justice in global labour regimes. His research informs policy-making within international organisations.
