Student University Card
Your student university card is a multi-function card that can be issued to students registered in UNNC. This card is specific to the University of Nottingham Ningbo and contains a combination of Mifare proximity chip, magstripe and barcode technologies.
Student ID Booklet
Your student ID booklet is a blue-covered booklet that can be issued to degree-oriented students in UNNC. It contains your photo, page of student information, page of registration stamp and page of train ticket discount (For Chinese students only).

Who is entitled to a card/booklet?
Students registered in UNNC are entitled to a student university card. If you are an unregistered student that needs to use on-campus facilities for some reason, please contact your sponsor to apply for a key card/associate card from the Security and Safety Office by sso@nottingham.edu.cn.
Degree-oriented students (excluding exchange-in students) in UNNC are entitled to a student ID booklet.
How to get my first student university card and ID booklet?
Your student university card and ID booklet are produced by The Hub before your enrollment. You can follow the relevant instructions and collect both on your registration day.
What is the function of my student university card and ID booklet?
Your university card acts as: a means of your student identification on campus, a library card, a building access card, a sports centre card, and an e-locker card. It can also be used for printing and on-campus consumption.
Your student ID booklet acts as a means of your UNNC student identification when you are on and off campus.
How to obtain a replacement?
If your student university card is lost or damaged, you can pay the 30RMB replacement fee at The Hub (Card Service), providing information of your UNNC student ID number and name, to obtain a new card with all functions activated in approximately 10 minutes. The replacement is free if the card is physically intact but dysfunctional, or if the card is stolen and you have a crime number.
If your student ID booklet is lost or damaged, you can bring a 2-inch size recent color photo in passport photo style (hardcopy) and pay the 20RMB replacement fee at The Hub (Card Service), providing information of your UNNC student ID number and name, to obtain a new ID booklet after 1-working day. The replacement is free if the booklet is stolen, and you have a crime number.
What to do if I find a lost card or booklet?
If you find any student university card or ID booklet, please return it to The Hub (Counter 10) at Portland Building 120 during its service hours. The Hub staff will make a record and try to contact the owner by email.
