About the PGSA
The Postgraduate Students Association (PGSA) was established in October 2005. A student run organization, whose aim is to promote common interests and fulfill diversified needs, PGSA represents the postgraduates on campus. Any student within the university is eligible to stand for an executive position.
As a democratic body under the authority of the PGSA constitution, the Executive Committee is elected by a transparent university-wide election of over 3,000 students. It is comprised of three main departments-the Publicity Department, Entertainments and Athletic Department and Academic Communications Department. There are 9 officers in total, who are endowed with respective powers and responsibilities, but united under the PGSA constitution with the aim of establishing a world-renowned university with its own characteristics.
