Undergraduate courses

All our undergraduate (bachelors) courses are taught in English and aim to equip you with a deep understanding of the subject as well as skills relevant to your future career.

Typically, you will be taught through lectures and seminars. We take pride in having small classes and getting to know all of our students. Our smaller seminars allow you to take part in discussions, interact with students from all over the world and develop your analytical skills.

Undergraduate courses are offered as three- or four-year programmes, depending on your entry qualifications.

BA (Hons) English Language and Applied Linguistics (2+2, 4+0)

BA (Hons) English Language and Literature (2+2)

Postgraduate programmes

Our master courses give you the chance to further your knowledge of a subject, gaining a more specialised understanding that will help you in chosen career path.

Masters courses are offered as a one-year programme, while PhD opportunities are available in many areas of English including applied linguistics, discourse analysis and literary studies.
