Visit us on our open day

The University of Nottingham Ningbo China invites everyone to attend its annual Open Day on Sunday April 10th 2016.

As well as demo lectures, potential applicants and their families will have the chance to meet UNNC lecturers, students and alumni to discuss course and career options. There will be comprehensive guided tours of the campus and informative presentations about students services, societies and welfare programmes.

The day will also feature a host of exciting and unusual events, including the “Colour Run” and a mystery “flash mob”.

The day starts at 9 am with a welcome presentation in the auditorium. Check out the full schedule below and please get there early!

Programme

Registration From 8:30, outside the Auditorium.

 

Welcome presentations: 9:00-10:00, in the Auditorium.

 

Flash mob by staff and student dance clubs: 9:50-10:10, find it out by yourselves!

 

Academic stands: Meet our lecturers and students to discuss your study and career options, 10:00-16:00.

 

Science and Engineering Building (SEB): Faculty of Science and Engineering

Teaching Building (TB): Nottingham University Business School China and School of Economics

Student Services Building (SSB): School of International Studies, School of International Communications and its Language Centre, School of English, School of Contemporary Chinese Studies, School of Education and Centre for English Language Education

 

Admissions and Careers stand: 10:00-16:00 in the Student Services Building.

 

Student Support and Wellbeing stand: 10:00-16:00 in the Teaching Building.

 

Campus tour: Let our WEAVER Organisation students show you around, 10:00-16:00. Take photos with the decorations next to the five campus tour stands to win a UNNC T-shirt at WEAVER stand in campus residential zone.

 

Join us for the campus Colour Run: Start 10:15am, outside the Auditorium. All in the name of fun, campus ambassadors will throw colourful corn powder and water balloons at participants as they run past the clock tower, the high street and the sports centre. Participants will all receive a free UNNC T-shirt and goggles. The route distance is 0.5km for under-13s and 2km for 13 years and older. Registration from 8:00-10:00am at the Colour Run registration point outside the Auditorium. Participants are advised to register as early as possible as there are limited places. Please warm up before the start of the event.
