The Watt Bike Challenge

Description

Here comes the round 2 of the “China Life Cycle 5 – Gearing up for Rural Education” charity event: The Watt Bike Challenge. How far can you go in 2 minutes on an exercise bike? Come and join us for a challenge!

When: 10am – 12pm, Saturday, 7th November

Where: UNNC Sports Centre

Who: Everyone is welcome! Our Vice Chancellor Sir David Greenaway and Provost Professor Chris Rudd will be there joining the challenge!

What are the prizes: We have prepared special prizes for the winners that goes the furthest and reaches the highest speed. Just a hint, they are sports related, and the top prize is worth RMB1280.

How to get an entry: Any amount of donation, big or small, will give you a chance to compete with our Vice Chancellor and Provost, to challenge yourself, and to win the prize! Small gifts are prepared for donations over RMB100.

All donations will be given to China Life Cycle 5 initiative that aims to design and build a state-of-the-art classroom unit for the children at Gansu Hepan Primary School. So far we have received RMB358,047 – another RMB337,153 to raise.

No pre-registration is required, please just come, challenge, bring your friends – but most important of all, get involved in this first ever UNNC Life Cycle!
