The Institute of Asia Pacific Studies (IAPS) roundtable will share experiences of women working and excelling in the academic field. We will discuss how to overcome challenges and explore available resources in The University of Nottingham and universities around the world.

This roundtable will be chaired by Dr May Tan-Mullins, Director of IAPS and the discussants are:

  • Professor Jeanne L. Wilson, Shelby Cullom Davis Professor of Russian Studies, Research Associate in Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard University and Professor in the Department of Political Science at Wheaton College in Norton, USA.
  • Professor Julie Sanders, Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning, Professor in English Studies, The University of Nottingham Ningbo China and Rose Mary Crawshay Prize 2012 awardee
