Smart City Development - Smart Energy Workshop & IDIC Research Showcase

Description

The International Doctoral Innovation Centre (IDIC), together with Ningbo Academy of Smart City Development, will co-host the Smart City Development - Smart Energy Workshop and IDIC Research Showcase on 26 September 2014.

The theme of the workshop is smart applications of energy technologies. Confirmed guests include government officials, senior academics on energy technologies and smart city development including an academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as high-powered delegates from industry and commerce in China and elsewhere.

As an important part for showcasing research and innovation capabilities of our PhD students, this event will coincide with the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FoSE) IDIC PhD Innovation Competition and IDIC Research Showcase. This event will be a channel to enhance the knowledge exchange and sharing with government, universities and industries, and serve as a platform to witness our student’s excellence in research and innovation.
