Visit us on our Engineering Surveying and Geodesy open day on 1 March 2014.

We would like to invite you to our Engineering Surveying and Geodesy open day at The University of Nottingham Ningbo China on 1 March 2014. You will visit our superb facilities including our GNSS, photogrammetry and remote measurements laboratories, see our advanced surveying equipment, as well as meet students, staff and alumni.

Staff in attendance on the day will include:

  • Dr Khalil Al-Manasir – Assistant Professor in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing
  • Dr Craig Matthew Hancock - Assistant Professor in Geodesy and Surveying Engineering
  • Dr Lawrence Lau - Assistant Professor in Space Geodesy and Surveying
  • Huib de Ligt - Senior Laboratory and Field Work Teacher

Demo and laboratory tour 
It gives you an opportunity to observe our advanced surveying equipment and labs, and to have better understanding of the surveying profession. The demo and lab sessions are:
10:20am-11:00am  GNSS signal simulation/GNSS laboratory SEB410 
11:00am-11:40am Photogrammetric mapping/modelling SEB338
11:40am-12:30pm Laser scanning and modelling Outside SEB and SEB338
12.30pm-13.30pm Lunch: Have lunch with our lecturers and students
