Bookworm Literary Festival: Pamela Williams

Organised by The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC)'s School of English, as part of The Bookworm Literary Festival, a yearly international literary festival held in various cities across China, a host of critically acclaimed writers from all over the world will come to UNNC to take part in a series of public talks.


Australian journalist Pamela Williams has won numerous awards for her investigative reporting at The Australian Financial Review, where she covered politics and business. She is the author of two best-selling books – the political campaign book The Victory on the rise of the Howard government in Australia and the business book, Killing Fairfax, which detailed the collapse of the advertising model which had been the financial backbone of the Fairfax Media empire.

She will be accompanied by Louisa Graham from the Walkley Foundation.

Pamela's talk will cover: "Looking Forward - Journalism Today and an Optimistic View of the Future".

The event is free of charge and there is no need to book.
