As part of the University's 10th anniversary public lecture series, Mr Ji Xiaojun, CCTV (China Central Television) presenter, will give a public talk on the campus, sharing his stories and experiences.  The talk will be in English.

About the speaker

Ji Xiaojun is a presenter of CCTV (China Central Television) and hosts a series of English programmes – Culture Express, Crossover, Happy Chinese and Our Chinese Heart.  Ji graduated from Beijing Language & Culture University and got MBA degree from The University of Nottingham UK in 1999.

Ji has hosted a number of major events including CCTV Mid-Autumn Festival Gala, CCTV New Year’s Gala, CCTV-Cup English-Speaking Competition, Chinese Proficiency Competition of Foreigners in China, The Opening Ceremony of China – ASEAN Fair, CCTV Economics Annual Conference, and The Awarding Ceremony of CCTV Economic Person of the Year.  The international events that Ji has co-hosted include The Beijing Olympic Games, The Beijing Paralympic Games, The Shanghai Special Olympics, Shanghai World Expo, Guangzhou Asian Games, Universiade 2011 Shenzhen, and Nanjing Youth Olympic Games. 

Ji was awarded the prize of Golden Microphone in 2012 and CCTV Outstanding Host in 2010 and 2006.
