Biography

Expertise summary

Dr. Zhijing Zhu joined Nottingham University Business School as an assistant professor of International Business and Strategy in March 2017. She received a BSc in Management Information System and a MBA degree from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL) in China, as well as a PhD in Strategy from UNSW Sydney in Australia. Prior to her PhD research, Zhijing had taken charge of international accreditation and international collaboration at the MBA School of ZUEL for 3 years, and held mid- and high-level management positions for international business in private high-tech Chinese firms for 7 years. Zhijing’s research interest covers innovation, firm and industry evolution, and international strategy. At present she focuses on studying systematically the development of new-to-the-world innovations in China.
