## Biography

I joined the The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) in August, 2013. Before that I was an associate professor at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, where I held the post of the Director of the Applied Mathematics Programme. Prior to that, I worked for six years for an oil company in the Middle East, after concluding 16 years tenure at the Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran.
