Research Interests

My research interests span two areas. First, I have been studying business value and various governance issues of employing information technologies (IT) in general. For instance, some of my research papers on this topic investigate how IT is related to innovation performance and employee misbehavior. Second, I'm interested in applying computational techniques such as machine learning models and network science models to empower managerial decision-making including innovation, investment, customer service, and supply chain management. Methodologically, my research is based on econometric analysis, analytics methods (e.g., machine learning and unstructured data analysis), network analysis, and survey.
